You were the child who danced in your room, who doodled in the margins, who turned toys into stories, who made magically conjured doorways where others only saw dead ends. That child is still here, waiting to be remembered.

Your creative dreams are not just distant possibilities. They are your fundamental right…period. They are who you are. To abandon them is to abandon yourself—and the world needs you whole and well. Ode. believes that everyone deserves a path back to their creative purpose. We dare you to dream again.

These dreams may feel impossibly large, sprawling like the deep roots of an ancient oak tree. Good. We specialize in making your impossible possible. But dreaming alone is like planting seeds in barren ground—all that hope has nowhere to go. You need soil rich with other people's experiences and hands that can tend and prune.

Come home to Brooklyn. Come home to Ode. Here, your messiness is welcomed, your contradictions celebrated. Ode. is a restorative arts community for the Black and somethings, a home for every version of you, every history that shaped you.

Our community houses private and shared working spaces and offers classes and workshops, practical resources, studios and galleries, and holistic wellness. But our true gift lives in the in-between spaces: moments of connection that spark new ideas, wisdom exchanged like heirlooms, nourishment that revives your creative energy, accountability to each other and to our highest selves, all within a loving community.

Ode. is accessible, with flexible pricing, residencies, assisted memberships, and the steady care of resourceful mentors and volunteers. We are your refuge: a third space where you can exhale, where you can find your way back to who you were before the world told you who to be.
